On february 2007 I spent four weeks in Sao Paolo favelas to teach to children how to use a snap shot plastic camera, during a workshop on behalf of the Italian ong Children. My duty was to help the children to tell a story about their hard condition of leaving. I had two classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
From the Italian ong I was introduced to Andrè Alcantara a great guy who will become one day also a great lawyer. So he broght me to his house, where I met Maria (the mother) and Antonio (the father). I had such a wonderful stay with them, that I didn't want to go back to Italy, when was the time. Maria adopted me as her son. We talked a lot in those special days, also with Antonio, who spoke so fast that I had to learn quick all the Portughese I know. I will remeber always the switness of Alcantara family.
