New York Stories #2

I moved to New York in November 1995 to seek a dream, and be part of that city. I spent almost 5 years there. At the beginning, I worked as an Assistant Fashion Photographer, then I became a Freelance Photo-journalist. For me it was a period of personal search and discovery in photography, but also in life. It was one of the most intense and beautiful periods in my career. I was always in the company of my camera - a black Nikon FE and a 24mm wide-angle lens -particularly. My only intent was to shoot photographs to capture the city during my long walks. It didn't really matter what or where, the only thing that mattered was to follow my emotions, support my wish for more discoveries.
This collection of photographs presents a very small fragment of my vast street photography – each and every image is like a little story that is part of a bigger one - where everyone can be part of ….the New York City.
